Jared and Sadon

My entry for 's contest artificially-zee.deviantart.co… Demons are fun.

The first one is Jared; he was 17 when he died, the cause being that he forgot to eat or sleep during a three-day-long Grand Theft Auto marathon. In human life, he was constantly worried or annoyed and antisocial, causing him to spend most of his time indoors. As a demon he's... well, not so different Despite his social incompetence, however, Jared does have some good points, like his ability to figure out puzzles pretty well. His demon form was influenced by his dislike of the outdoors, giving him bat traits; he is now able to hear extremely well (this has, however, had negative effects as well; his eyesight is poor and his fingers have stretched out to become part of bat wing-like fingers that aren't big enough to actually make him fly).
I didn't finish his sketch for fear of messing him up too much, looks wise Wasn't sure what color scheme I wanted or how to draw those darn fingers... oh well

The second demon is Sadon, who died at the age of 19 during the Dancing Plague of 1518. The "plague", surprisingly, is a real thing and is just like it sounds; in 1519, there was a strange phenomenon of dancing which around 400 people ended up having, causing them to dance uncontrollably until they died. Because he danced himself to death, the feet of Sadon's demon form are constantly bleeding and he puts new bandages on them about twice a day. He was a shepherd in his human life.
Sadon is soft spoken and finds the humor in absolutely anything. He was the town pretty boy as a human and the vanity that came with that is present in him as a demon as well.
In appearance, Sadon has characteristics of a young stag (antlers, ears, nose) and has the ability to appear on earth in the form of a stag.
